As the New York Post’s Deputy Sunday Features Editor (it’s always been a mouthful!), I assign and edit stories on everything under the pop culture and entertainment umbrella. And yes, I do help come up with those headlines. Not for Page One, no. But I promise you, it’s equally as exciting to be the brainchild of any quality pun no matter where in the paper it prints. I’m also Executive Editor of the juicy glossy supplement Page Six Magazine when it comes out three times a year. Prior to my current gigs, I was living the teenage dream at Seventeen magazine and before that at Alloy Media + Marketing. When I’m not helping make other writers’ work better, I’m messing around with my own words and have recently begun contributing to Fodor’s. In my home city of Manhattan, I live in the lovely West Village where my heels get stuck in the old-school cobblestones and silly tourists take photos in front of the nearby “fake” home of Carrie Bradshaw, which makes me giggle since I know where SJP herself lives just a block over. In London Town I’ll be staying in a neighborhood called Wapping, which no one seems to have heard of when I mention it. But give me a map, a destination and a reason to ask cute British blokes for directions, and I’ll be just fine.
